Westminster Alumni Mylo Mitchell signs professionally with AS Police for the inaugural BAL

American Guard Mylo Mitchell signs professionally with AS Police, the National Champions in Africa in 2019 for the inaugural Basketball African League (BAL) which tips off this weekend!

University of Westminster Masters graduate Mylo represented the Westminster Dragons in 2019-20 whilst playing semi-professionally with National Basketball League D2 team BC Medlynas. The Miami native led Westminster to an undefeated university season, winning both BUCS Division 2 and Conference Cup averaging 31.1PPG 6.9RPG, 6.7APG and 4.1STPG.

The Basketball African League (BAL) was founded in 2019, but due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the season was postponed. The professional league is a joint effort between global organisations National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA with lucrative sponsorships from Nike, Air Jordan and Pepsi. Games will be live-streamed and also shown on top American Sports Networks.
