Congratulations to first-year Westminster 1st guard Afrasyab Khalil for being nominated for the prestigious University of Westminster Students’ Union (UWSU) Player of the Year! 🐲🏆
Afrasyab continues to play at the highest levels in basketball, competing at National League Division 2 and European tournaments in his age group. His consistent performances this season pushed Dragons to their best ever league record in BUCS Division 2 with narrowly missing out on promotion 🔥
The Men’s Basketball team have also been nominated for University of Westminster Students’ Union (UWSU) Biggest Achievement for the second year running!
This time the Dragons have been recognised for competing in the highest British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Division out of all Dragons teams, as well as competing on the National stage in ENL D4 Men’s league.
